The July newsletter contains excerpts from the recently released Ministry Advisory Group (MAG) report pertaining to the teaching and learning of mathematics. I have not made comment as I think teachers need to read and think for themselves in the contexts of their own classrooms and students.
I have always used just one WALT for whatever age, subject, or stage of learning and it won't change: "We are learning to use the knowledge and skills that we have to solve problems and build new knowledge and skills."
