Education Consultancy

Charlotte Wilkinson holds a BEd (Hons) specialising in Primary Maths with ongoing study in the area of teaching and learning primary mathematics. She also holds qualifications in Adult Education. She has worked in Education as a classroom teacher, senior teacher, deputy principal, adviser and private consultant.

Charlotte is the author of Pearson Mathematics and Maths Aotearoa written for the NZ curriculum and has worked on projects with Pearson UK and Maskew Miller Longman SA with publications in Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

Charlotte, along with her husband Nigel designs and publishes Wilkie Way numeracy resources available from the online store and the members area of this website.

Charlotte's philosophy is that every student is capable of learning maths. Every student needs to be exposed to a rich variety of mathematical learning opportunities that challenge their thinking and builds their knowledge. Exposure alone is insufficient, it requires a teacher with knowledge of the maths inherent in the learning opportunity and knowledge of the student to know how much support is required.

Challenge + Support = Learning
